Spain’s most celebrated native grape. Produces a gorgeous, deep-garnet colored wine with vibrant aromatics. Aromas of strawberry, plum, vanilla, and tobacco. Flavors of crushed berries, currant, plum, and coffee. Full-bodied with refined, heavier tannins on the finish. From Rattlesnake Hills appellation of Zillah, Washington. Pairs with bold meat dishes, chorizo salami, olives, and aged Spanish cheeses like Manchego or Idiazabal.
